How do you turn Multi shot into single shot?

My father accidentally turned the camera onto "multi-shot" which takes a series of shots. On the computer it looks like several little pictures all put together. Is there anyway to make it just one? It is a digital camera. It is also on the computer as separated small images not as one image.

2. No.... As in double exposed film, once the multiple exposures have been made, there is no way of separating them. Just because it's digital doesn't matter. All the pixels are mixed together and images are NOT layers, that can be separated. The name brand of camera means nothing here. Bob - Tucson
3. Just select the one you like best. You only merge shots when you have a different exposure on them, merging shots taken with the same settings will yield nothing better than any one of the images. Chris
