What is crazy. What do someone have to do to make you think they are crazy. Define crazy for me.

  1. everybody is crazy. one man's insanity is another's sanity. if you want to generally classify beyond any doubt, there are disorders. antisocial disorder - the stuff serial killers are made of, their brains are literally different than the average person. there's also many different forms of schizophrenia, some of which will actually have a person creating things in their mind, their world is completely different because they don't know what is and what isn't real, ever seen someone talking to themself? or to a tree? they usually think they're having a real conversation with another person, and by all means in their perfect mind they are even then, the people who are afflicted with said disorders, aren't aware of it, thus crazy people don't know their crazy, so to them they're normal, and other people might be crazy. such is my everyday life.. other than that disorders like those, crazy and not crazy are just words.
  2. They have to prove that they will party! Weeeewwwww!
  3. hmmmm jumping off a builiding, for no reason. lol hmmm i dont know i guess we are all crazy once in a while. Like one time when I was younger i ate half a bottle of ketchup lol I was sick for a couple of days.
  4. erratic schitzo
  5. i will define crazy for you if you can define normal for me
  6. kill someone, attack people for no reason, repeatedly do things that are socially unacceptable,...etc. weird question btw - but nobodys really crazy becuase everything they do makes sense to them.
  7. My ex Travis. Pretty sure you will find his picture in the dictionary under that term also.
  8. The description "crazy" is completely subjective. The definition given by one person will not always match that given by another. Consider: Riding a bike without hands on the handlebars. For some people, it's not difficult at all and they wouldn't consider it crazy. For others, it is difficult and is a sure way to get hurt, so for them, they might consider anybody doing so to be crazy. (Because, why would anybody knowingly want to get hurt?) For the most part, though, most people would agree that crazy is doing something that is not "normal" and most likely "dangerous". For example, driving on the wrong side of the expressway, sticking one's tongue in a live light socket, playing Russian roulette. For the most part, mental health professionals probably avoid the word crazy, preferring to use words that are more descriptive of an individual's disorder. Schizophrenia, depression, bipolar, etc. are all specific disorders that depending on their severity, some people might consider to be "crazy".
  9. if you repeat the question again i think you are the craziest person i can define.
  10. Some people are crazy, and people can't even realize it.They have no conscience,...do things that are illegal, deviant, dangerous, to themselves and others, lie pathologically, and are capable of murder, and horrible things,...and for the most part, fitting right in to society without being caught...or so they believe...many think that they are fooling everyone...this is part of their illness, and some of them, even have personalities, that they are totally not in control of...very very sad
  11. onatea; the first answer is pretty darned close... so are a handfull of others.... "There is only one difference between a madman and me. The madman thinks he is sane. I know I am mad." -Salvador Dali- There are degrees of madness that are influenced and interpreted through the eyes of history, society, and personal expirience. What is crazy today may not have been crazy 60 years ago and what is crazy by english standards may not be in other cultures... Were all a little crazy. The key is to seperate crazy from insane/mad. Reguardless of time place context the true test of insanity is that the individual is evidentily removed from rationality and reality eaither completely or periodically and yet notices this no more than we notce that the sky has clouds. They never question their derrision. now crazy, mad... that is a trickier term... Your not so bad off if you know enough to even ask the question... am I or what is... crazy? That implicates sanity. Yet psychiatric crazy exists on a spectrum with what ever normal and healthy might be like this figurative gold pot at the end of the rainbow on one side and insanity on the oposite. Most all of us find ourselves somewhere in the middle. And further asking what is crazy... feminism was crazy, a black man running for president was crazy, the fact that the womb indeed does not wander was crazy..social rebellion, impressionism...all...... "crazy" can be used to define... progressive... beyond the norm... a label crazy can be that ingenious artist, that thrillseekig out going friend, that great band, that slang word... so I suppose to conclude my book..... insanity is , as the quote stated, the lack of awareness of your own insantiy. Mental illness, gifts, quirks however you choose to see them can be found some where along the spectrum before "insane" in that they know ...'somethings off" as for "crazy' that term begs society time sociology slang... and opens up a whole other topic on top of the question of what defines sanity.
  12. crazy is giving you a chicken for a pet, wanting to stay home and read books with you instead of going out on a date. Crazy is calling you 50 times a day!!!
